"They should really try to collect as littleas possible and have clear terms around what is collected and how it will be used, who will have access to it etc..." -- Couldn't agree more. On the original AAWA thread, Lady Lee answered me respectfully when I asked about who would have access to peoples info, whereas Cedars went off on one, taking it as some personal attack.. Without detailed privacy/who will have access statements, I wouldn't go near AAWA, but I hope that they are able to help some people once trust is regained.

Where else to go.I sticking up for the WTS.
by joe134cd innow i am going to do a rear thing here and i am going to stick up for the wts.
i realise that the wts hasn't got the best of track record, and sure they have made mistakes.
but if i was to go to another church wouldn't they still have the same issues.

@Unstopabler OR Op --- What is it that proves to you that the Bible, in its entirety, was inspired by God.. or even that it is WORTH joining any group for? How is it different to any other ancient writing that says 'obey this God or die' ? Sorry if it seems off topic, but discussing which Christian religion to join without looking at the core issue (why do you NEED to go to a church to listen to some guys view on something some guy 1,000+years ago wrote).. Seems pointless to me. Maybe WT is not leading the worst 'Bible-based' group on the planet. So what?

'What realy winds people up and causes them to shine light on the WT faults is that they are pi**ed at been thrown out' --- It seems that you already know the difference between them and other groups of fanatics with their heads stuck in the sand then, don't you? If you even try to raise your head out of the sand.. The WT insists that either an elder push your head back under, you do so voluntarily, or you must leave the 'nursery' and never speak to your friends/family again.(I'm describing religion as groups of children, in case you don't get why I used the word nursery. And most belief/doctrinal systems are as shallow as a childs sand pit, once you start to dig.) Besides, what specifically are you trying to defend about them, as I must have missed it.. ? That there are other groups that are as bad, or worse? Perhaps not joining them would be the answer?

What will happen when JWActivists goes back online?
by okage inthe aawa website jwactivists is down for repairs or whatever, so here is my prediction of what it will be when it comes up:.
* the site will have removed all mention of jwn.
* the site will have revised their own history.. * the site will have a registry that will be contingent on confirmation of identity in relation to the wts, but will also limit the function and communication of naysayers of john cedars' only working organization on earth.. * privacy will not be addressed.
